Catalina/Beach Diving Class

This Is the best of both worlds. It will prepare you for real California Diving. One day in Catalina's Dive Park and one day beach diving at our local beaches. You complete your training with a few other people on pre-set dates.

What does the course fee include?

  • 5 Academic Knowledge Review Classes
  • 5 Confined Pool Dives
  • 4-6 Open Water Dives
  • Boat Fees
  • Air Fills for Local Diving
  • Tuition fee (and eLearning Fee if that option chosen for eLearning option please add $181)


  • Study materials (Open Water crew-pack with book, dive table, log book OR for eLearning: dive table, record folder and log book)
  • Lifetime "PADI Open Water Scuba Diver" certification card
  • Rental of primary scuba gear (wet suit, regulator, BCD, weights, cylinder) for the class
  • Signature Scuba Dive Club membership.

Students are required to have their own personal equipment: mask, fins, boots, gloves, snorkel and dive bag and a timing device. Students get special pricing from our store.

What do I need to start?
Virtually anyone who is older than 10-years-old and in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.
