PADI Open Water Certification (Beginner Course)

All Open Water Certification classes include the Padi Open Water Pak 60067. For eLearning classes Padi Open Water Enhancement Pak 70823.

*All class fees are non-refundable

*For Private or Semi-Private Training and (eLearning if student wants boat dives): Boat Fees are additional.

Rental Gear (BCD, Wetsuit, Regulator, Weights and Air Cylinder) air fills** are included for all classes.

** Air fills on Catalina are additional.

Students are required to have their own personal equipment: mask, fins, boots, gloves, hood, snorkel and dive bag, Students get special pricing from our store.

Typically, all it takes is four days of training. This PADI programs are performance programs. You continue on to each level as you demonstrate the mastery of each course skills. This allows you to pace yourself at a rate that is comfortable for your level. Signature Scuba offers group, semi private and private classes to accommodate your needs. Open Water classes are conducted on a regular basis, during the week and on weekends.

Orientation
-1st Day: 5 Academic Knowledge Review Classes
-2nd Day: 5 Confined Pool Dives
-3rd Day: 2-3 Ocean Dives
-4th Day: 2-3 Ocean Dives

Our expert instructors will guide you through step-by-step, from helping you in the class, extra time in the pool, as well as extra ocean dives to make sure your experience is nothing but fantastic! When you earn your certification with us, you'll be a safe, competent diver, one who will have the personal dives skills to help protect the environment and enjoy the underwater world safely! Please note there may be additional fees for pool or ocean dives.

 

For your convenience you have the option to study online or with the Open Water manual - your choice!

 

 

 

 

 

On Day 1 of class, we'll review your homework, and then get fitted in top of the line Dive Systems rental gear package.

Day 2: The fun begins! You'll learn and master all of the required fundamental skills on your journey to becoming a certified diver.  These confined water pool sessions take place under the supervision of our expert Instructors.

Days 3 & 4: The final step is to complete the required 4 open-water training dives under the direct supervision of your Instructor.

Here you will apply what you have learned during your academic and skill-development sessions, while learning practical lessons that can only be gained through real-world experience in open water.
