Catalina island Day Trip on the Pac Star Dec 20 2025
Join us for our first charter on the Pacific Star. You may board the night before from 8pm to 10pm or the morning of at 6am for 7am departure. Boat location. 141 W 22nd St, San Pedro, CA 90731
Availability: In Stock
You will need to bring all of your gear including a tank and weights. If you'd like Nitrox the boat offers nitrox/O2 fills at $15 per fill (settled at end of charter) but its partial pressure blending so an O2 cleaned tank is required (needs to be marked on the sticker).
- Bring your blanket (sleeping bag) and pillow
- One FULL air tank. Ask to have it checked before you leave the store. Trust no one. Tanks are refilled on the boat.
- All your regular SCUBA gear including weights. Lay everything out and use a checklist. Pack (in a dive roller bag works best) in reverse order so the items you will need first are on top.
- Gear: regulator, BCD, mask, fins, snorkel, boots, gloves, hood, exposure suit, surface marker buoy (SMB), anti-fog, cylinder, weights, dive lights, camera, extra batteries, and anything else you normally dive with.
- C-Card
- Log Book
- First Aid kit
- Save-A-Dive kit (O-rings, mask and fin strap, computer battery, etc)
- Extra towel
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Dive Parka, windbreaker, or sweatshirt in case it gets cold.
- A change of clothes. Example: If I'm going to wear shorts and sandals, I will usually pack a pair of jeans, socks, and tennis shoes. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
- Cash for gratuity. Most of the boat crews out here work for tips only and they split the tip jar at the end of the trip. Standard dining gratuity protocol is customary. $15.00-$20.00 for a 3-tank trip per person.
- It is recommended you tell someone you are going diving, the name of the boat you will be on, its scheduled destination (Catalina, San Clemente, etc.) and your scheduled return-to-dock time.
- Take motion sickness medication as directed if needed.
