PADI Tec 40 CCR Instructor Course – Teach the Future of Closed-Circuit Diving
The PADI Tec 40 CCR Instructor Course trains experienced instructors to teach entry-level closed-circuit rebreather diving using approved Type R units, such as the Hollis PRISM 2. As a Tec 40 CCR Instructor, you will prepare divers to safely plan and conduct no-decompression dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters/130 feet, including proper bailout procedures, CCR-specific problem-solving, and essential skills for rebreather use.
This program covers unit assembly and maintenance, gas management, scrubber monitoring, loop management, buoyancy control, and emergency drills unique to CCR diving. You’ll also develop advanced teaching techniques for CCR theory, confined water training, and open water application.
Upon certification, you will be able to offer PADI Tec 40 CCR Diver courses, expanding your professional portfolio and meeting the growing demand for advanced rebreather instruction.
Prerequisites: PADI Tec 40 CCR Diver (or equivalent), PADI Instructor (or higher), and a minimum number of logged CCR dives as required by PADI.
