Hog Zenith Second Stage

New Silicone Front cover design gives the advantages of a soft front cover without the "Rot away" feature other brands offer in their Front covers. New poppet material reduces friction in the barrel increasing performance.The HOG Second stage gives you ergonomic one-handed access to both the inhalation effort knob and the dive/predive venturi adjustment lever, making perfect regulator tuning easy. The rigid second stage face cover and the positive-action purge button with diaphragm protection reduces the possibility for current-induced free flows and completely eliminates the possibility of diaphragm pinching seen with many flimsy rubber purge covers. The most important feature of the HOG technical second stage is the amazing breathing performance! The metal gas tube and precision components of this second stage allow for precision tuning for extremely easy breathing while also retaining heat and moisture from exhaled breath. This provides increased resistance to freezing in cold water and less dry mouth. The dual diver-adjustable features allow for condition-specific tuning during each stage of the dive.

Dive Rite's Hogarthian Stage Strap is a product of the K.I.S.S. principle (Keep It Simple Stupid).  Appealing to the minimalist diver, this economical kit includes everything needed to properly setup a streamlined stage or deco bottle. The strap consists of braided nylon line with a black rubber fuel hose cover for abrasion protection. At each end of the strap a medium bolt snap is used for clipping the tank off to the diver’s harness. A stainless steel clamp sheathed in tubular nylon webbing secures the bottom of the strap to the tank.  A premium Dive Rite EPDM hose retainer is included to keep hoses managed while not in use.

The stainless steel cylinder clamp uses a unique "speed" worm gear, which allows the diver to quickly adjust the clamp with less effort.

The Hogarthian Stage Strap Kit is available in two sizes for cylinders measuring approximately 5.25 inches (14 cm) (GM2053s-5-HOG) or 7.25 inches (18 cm) (GM2053S-7-HOG) in diameter.

Old-school, no frills Hogarthian harness.

The Basic Harness is a clean, streamlined harness for use with hard backplates. Two-inch (50 mm) nylon webbing provides strength, yet is soft and won’t dig into the body. Harness is adjustable by cutting off excess webbing once diver has sized the harness to his or her body. Standard two-inch webbing allows for customization with a wide variety of pockets and accessories, depending on the needs and desires of the individual diver. Includes marine-grade stainless steel hardware.
