Beqa has over 100 dive sites, most within a twenty-minute boat ride from the resorts. These include two shipwrecks and the world-famous legendary Cathedral Shark Dive. It is known as the soft coral capital and home to radiant reefs that support a vast array of marine life, from gorgeous corals to massive Tiger and Bull sharks. Other critters you’re likely to encounter are Blue Ribbon Eels, Lionfish, Leaf Scorpions and Clown Triggers. The water is clear and warm, and visibility is typically between 65 -100 feet. The currents are mostly gentle, which makes the diving suitable for beginner to intermediate divers.
