If you're a certified SDI Open Water Scuba Diver and ready to grow your diving skills and confidence, the SDI Advanced Adventure Diver Course at Signature Scuba in Rancho Cucamonga is your next step toward mastery.

This exciting, skill-building course gives you an overview of five SDI specialty dives—including two required specialties: Deep Diver and Navigation Diver. These foundational dives are essential for more advanced exploration and are often prerequisites for future training. You choose the remaining three dives based on your interests, allowing you to preview a wide range of specialties without committing to a full course.

Course Requirements:

• Minimum age 18, or 10 with parental consent

• SDI Open Water Diver (or equivalent certification)

• Successful completion of SDI Advanced Adventure Diver Knowledge Quests

• Demonstrated sound judgment, planning, and execution during all dives

Junior Diver Depth Limits & Restrictions:

• Max depth for ages 10–15: 70 feet (21 meters)

• Dry Suit: Minimum age 12

• Wreck (limited penetration): Minimum age 15

SDI Deep Diver Specialty Dive

• Dive planning and depth control

• Equipment checks, bottom time management

• Dives up to 100 feet (30 meters) for adult divers

• Emergency and ascent procedures

SDI Navigation Diver Specialty Dive

• Out-and-back, square, and triangle patterns

• Bottom navigation and exit strategy
