The TDI CCR Air Diluent Diver Course is your first step into the world of closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) diving. At Signature Scuba in Rancho Cucamonga, we’ll guide you through the essential skills, equipment, and mindset you need to dive a recreational rebreather unit safely to a maximum of 100 feet (30 meters), using air as a diluent and no required decompression.
Whether you're into underwater photography, extended bottom times, or future tech diving paths, this course will transform how you experience the underwater world.
What You’ll Learn:
The fundamentals of CCR technology and dive theory
How to assemble, test, and maintain your rebreather unit
Understanding PO? setpoints and oxygen management
Dive planning using constant PO? profiles
Bailout procedures and emergency drills
Buoyancy control and trim with a CCR system
Hands-on training in unit-specific protocols (e.g., Poseidon, JJ-CCR, Prism 2, etc.)
You will train on the specific CCR unit of your choice (approved TDI unit list), with detailed practice on pre-dive checklists, problem-solving, and real-world dive skills.
