Dive Rite’s Azimuth Reels are designed from the ground up to be precision tools for the true underwater explorer. Innovative design features, top quality components, and tight manufacturing tolerances separate the Azimuth from the pack.
Every component on the Azimuth Reel is carefully crafted from acetal or stainless steel using high precision CNC machining. The dimensions of the reel have been thoughtfully chosen for comfort and ease-of-use as well as being low profile when clipped off and stowed. A one-piece trapezoidal handle provides a high strength, corrosion-free frame and an ergonomic grip with or without gloves. The unique in-line clip slots on the handle orient the reel to sit closer to the body when clipped to a D-ring. This design also allows the included double bolt snap to swing out of the way and lay against the handle, negating the need to remove the clip for quick deployment.
By using an all-machined spool design rather than injection molded plastic, tight tolerances are able to be used at the spool-to-frame interface, making the Azimuth reel incredibly smooth to operate and highly resistant to jamming. If the spool does need to be removed, it is a simple procedure using only a 3/16-inch hex wrench to remove the axle. There are no small parts, washers, or clips to lose. A small “fuel gauge” slot on the front panel of the spool allows the diver to see how much line remains at a glance. The fully knurled inner spindle and line-lock holes on the spool side plate completely prevent any slipping of the line on the spool when reeling up.
The innovative angled lock-down screw design is more ergonomic and streamlined than traditional solutions. Additionally, it applies lateral force to the beveled inner edge of the spool side plate to hold it tightly against the frame, providing a very secure lockdown. Finally, a pressed-in pin through the reel frame captures the custom lockdown screw, eliminating the chance of backing it out too far and losing it on a dive.
The versatile 200-foot (60 m) size is perfect for many applications, including: cave primary, cave safety, wreck diving, and shooting lift bags and markers. Available in white or hi-viz orange line.

For divers who frequently switch between double tank and single tank rigs, the STA is the answer. The stainless steel cam strap with roller buckle (BC 2035) uses a 2-inch wide nylon webbing with marine grade stainless steel buckle. 36-inch (91.4 cm) webbing length is suitable for cylinders from 6.9-inches (17.5 cm) to 8-inches (20.3 cm) in diameter, which includes them most popular sizes of cylinders. Nylon rollers on the cam strap protect the cylinder from being scratched by the buckle, while a rubber non-slip pad prevents the cylinder from shifting once the cam buckle has been secured. Excess webbing is secured using hook-and-loop, which will also prevent the buckle from accidentally coming open. This cam strap comes standard on all Transpac XT, VoyagerPac, and TravelPac systems.
The low-profile, 1.5-inch cam strap (BC 2036-1.5) is a popular option for rigging sidemount or stage bottles. Using a low-profile marine grade stainless steel roller cam buckle, the 1.5-inch wide strap is 36-inches (91.4 cm) long and is user adjustable to fit cylinders from 5-inches (12.7 cm) in diameter up to 8-inches (20.3 cm) in diameter. Rubber non-slip pad prevents the cylinder from shifting once the cam strap is secured. Excess webbing is secures using hook-and-loop, which will also prevent the buckle from accidentally coming open.
The 2-inch cam strap is also available with a plastic buckle (BC 2032). The plastic buckle is a popular option for applications where trimming every ounce possible from gear is necessary. The plastic buckle cam strap includes a rubber non-slip pad to prevent the cylinder from shifting once the cam strap has been secured. Excess webbing is secured using hook-and-loop, which will also prevent the buckle from accidentally coming open.
2-inch stainless steel buckle cam straps are also available in a double-long version, with a 52-inch (132 cm) length (BC 2035-DOUBLE). Note: Double length cam strap will include 2 rubber non-slip pads.

The OG doubles wing.
The Dive Rite Classic Wing has stood the test of time as the first aircell designed specifically for use with large double cylinders. With 55 pounds of lift, the Classic Wing was designed to carry double steel 104s with multiple stage bottles and other accessories. Using a horseshoe design, divers can target lift where it’s needed to balance out their rig and stay in trim.
Compared to the original “Doubles Wing” released in 1985, today’s Classic version has an enhanced construction using a premium 1000 denier ballistic nylon outerbag and a heavy duty 210 nylon laminated inner bladder. The solid center panel features two sets of 316 stainless steel grommets for mounting so a diver can tweak the wing position to adjust trim. A piece of 2-inch nylon webbing runs down the center of the Classic wing to reinforce the grommets. The Classic wing is available in all black, black with red trim, and black with blue trim.
The top outlet is centered so it’s nestled between the cylinders under the isolation valve and clear of hose routing. The wing comes standard with a 16-inch corrugated hose (12-inch available by request) with elbow attachment, a robust power inflator, and a 22-inch low pressure inflator hose. The pull dump over pressure valve is in the traditional lower left corner of the wing. Welded urethane bladder flanges allow easy, tool free removal and replacement of corrugated hoses and over pressurization valves. Appealing to a minimalist diving philosophy, the Classic wing is free of any bungee, tabs, or excess clutter.

The Compact SPG is a great alternative for divers that want a lightweight SPG for traveling, sidemount bottles, or stage bottles.
A polycarbonate face and a nickel plated brass body reduce the weight of the Compact SPG by 43% compared to our Mini Tech SPG. A clean, black and white face means the Compact SPG is easy to read. This naked gauge has a 1.75-inch (44.5 mm) diameter with a 1.5-inch (38 mm) face (RG 2740-NH).
A Bourdon tube gauge, the Compact SPG is calibrated to 5000 PSI in 100 PSI increments (360 Bar in 10 Bar increments) for the highest level of accuracy. A luminescent dial makes it easier to read in low light situations.

CNC machined from solid Delrin rod, these thumbwheels are incredibly strong, fast, and easy to install. Simply drop into place and give them a quick spin. The tri-scalloped design makes tightening a breeze and is easy to grip, even with cold, wet hands.

Dive Rite's Hogarthian Stage Strap is a product of the K.I.S.S. principle (Keep It Simple Stupid). Appealing to the minimalist diver, this economical kit includes everything needed to properly setup a streamlined stage or deco bottle. The strap consists of braided nylon line with a black rubber fuel hose cover for abrasion protection. At each end of the strap a medium bolt snap is used for clipping the tank off to the diver’s harness. A stainless steel clamp sheathed in tubular nylon webbing secures the bottom of the strap to the tank. A premium Dive Rite EPDM hose retainer is included to keep hoses managed while not in use.
The stainless steel cylinder clamp uses a unique "speed" worm gear, which allows the diver to quickly adjust the clamp with less effort.

When sidemounting stage tanks or rebreather bailout bottles, buttplate rails can be difficult to access if backmounted gear covers them up. Problem solved with our Tech Buttplate. Its rectangular shape places tank attachment points at the edge of the diver's body, while outrigger hardware is easy to find due to its orientation facing outwards on the plate. Tech Buttplate can be mounted to harness by using either the two 2" webbing loops, or using two stainless steel assembly screws (included). Increase comfort and streamlining.
Our High Flow Angle Adapter attaches between the regulator second stage and its’ low pressure hose, routing the hose down the diver’s chest and/or under the arm.
This low-profile adapter is not an omni-directional swivel, so it maintains its’ angle and will not allow the regulator to flop around. Placed on a 40-inch primary regulator hose in a single-tank regulator configuration, the High Flow Angled Adapter allows the hose to route down under the arm and up to the mouth, getting rid of the large hose “arc” that protrudes from the tank around the diver and can easily become snagged. Sidemount divers use the Right Angle Adapter to route their hoses down their chest to their bottles, eliminating the need to route the hose around the neck.
