The universal SeaLife Float Strap is designed to float many brands of underwater cameras, lights, and other waterproof devices. The Float Strap is especially important for the Micro-Series cameras because of their negative buoyancy.

Floats all SeaLife cameras and most other waterproof cameras and portable devices.  Soft, comfortable closed-cell neoprene with orange liner for high visibility.  Sliding lock securely adjusts strap to wrist. Heavy duty nylon cord holds up to 50lbs/23Kg og weight on land.  Provides 3.5oz/100g of underwater buoyancy. Integrated clip for attaching to BCD D-ring.

SPECS

The SL920 Float Strap has 3.5 ounces / 100 grams of positive lift force in fresh water and 3.6 ounces / 103 grams of lift in salt water.  This lift force calculation is at the surface only.  The float strap is made of closed-cell soft neoprene so it becomes less buoyant at depth because the neoprene air cells compress with water pressure.

It is not the camera weight that determines if the strap will float the camera/housing or not.  It is the weight of the camera in water that determines it’s buoyancy and required lift force.  You can weigh your camera or housing in water using a fish scale or pull force gauge.  If you weigh it in fresh water, add 3% lift force for salt water.

Please note: The attachment clip is for attaching to a vest or BC. Do not attach to the camera or housing.

The SeaLife Lens Caddy mounts SeaLife DC, Micro and RM-4K series lenses to a camera or tray using the standard ¼-20 tripod screw or to any grip/arm up to 1.8” (45mm) in diameter using a sturdy hook & loop nylon strap. The Lens Caddy holds any DC series lens (SL975, SL050, SL051, SL976), or Micro and RM-4K series lenses (SL571, SL572, SL052).

Yes, that’s right! Universal! This housing has an adjustable shim system in it allowing you to fit many of the popular phones on the market into it. We also have another great feature built in, a vacuum port system! No longer worry about if your seal is safe. Simply give a couple pulls on the vacuum pump (included) and the housing will let you know that it has a vacuum and is safe to dive. We have a wide-angle, and macro lens available too. The SportDiver is easy to hold and use and offers a large shutter lever and rear control buttons for easy operation, even with dive gloves.  Snorkelers and Divers can get more creative with their photos or video shot by using advanced camera settings*. Adjust Zoom, Exposure (EV), Auto/Manual Focus, White Balance, Tint, Lens selection, RAW+JPEG mode, Live Photo and Background Blur (on available phone models).

The App Playback mode shows full size photos and videos with vertical thumbnail strip to easily locate your images. Videos start playing automatically when selected. All files are also saved to the phone’s camera roll.  The SportDiver housing automatically connects to your smartphone and the SportDiver app using Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) 5 wireless technology. No cables or buttons touch the phone and offers ultra-low power consumption for both the phone and the housing which is powered by two AAA batteries that last over 50 hours of continuous use.

For enhanced imaging results, a removable underwater color-correction filter is included with the SportDiver which restores natural underwater colors.  The filter easily attached or removes underwater and includes a safety tether to prevent loss.  The SportDiver housing features triple 1/4-20 tripod mounts which mounts to any light or light tray with standard tripod threads such as SeaLife’s range of Sea Dragon underwater photo/video lights.

For the phone’s safety and protection, the SportDiver has a sturdy holding spring and rubber grip tabs that securely hold the smartphone in place and add shock-protection.  The SportDiver has “Dual Leak Alarms” which include an internal moisture alarm and a vacuum pressure alarm which alert the diver with on-screen warnings, audio and LED signal in the unlikely event the waterproof seal is compromised and there’s a loss of housing pressure or moisture is detected.  The door of the SportDiver is sealed with a TPE O-ring and a robust cam-lock sealing latch that easily and securely locks waterproof door.  To prevent interior fogging from residual moisture, the SportDiver uses the anti-fogging agent “Moisture Muncher” capsule which prevents fogging and internal condensation.

Y-shaped Dual Sync Cord with Ikelite-style plugs on all ends. Supports TTL operation with any compatible system featuring an Ikelite-style electrical bulkhead and two DS strobes. The Ikelite-style plug is widely recognized as the most reliable waterproof strobe sync connection available. Built-in strain reliefs reduce stress on cord ends.

Compatibility

Compatible with all Ikelite housings featuring an electrical bulkhead, Ikelite TTL Converters, and select housings from other manufacturers that have been upgraded with an Ikelite electrical bulkhead.

This cord cannot be used to connect a single strobe to a housing. To connect one strobe to a single housing bulkhead, use a single sync cord # 45151 instead.

The TG-6 has a bright 25-100mm mid-range zoom lens and a high-speed back-lit CMOS image sensor for excellent performance in low-light settings. The microscope mode has been improved since the previous TG-5 model and is capable of macro close-up images that are as good as if not better than expensive full-frame DSLR cameras.

The TG-6 supports ultra HD 4K video and RAW image capture, which is a powerful tool for post-dive color corrections using either Adobe Lightroom or the included software. The TG-6 is waterproofed to 50' (15.2m) even without a housing, which makes set-up a little less stress-inducing.

Lens Support

The DC1 6" Dome Port # 6401 offers the best of everything: wide angle, macro, and over-under all on one dive. This special dome port replaces the housing's standard port and provides sharp 25mm wide angle, full zoom through and macro capabilities, and is perfect for split shots (half-in, half-out of the water).

The WD-3 Wide Angle Dome # 6430.3 attaches to the front of the standard port and provides mid-range angle of view with no vignetting (dark shadows in the corners of the image).

The W-30 Wide Angle Lens # 6430, INON UWL-H100, and other 67mm threaded wide angle lenses, provide a wider maximum angle of view. Because these are separated from the camera's lens by glass, air, and water, some vignetting and edge distortion will be present. These effects can be reduced or eliminated by using a smaller aperture, zooming in slightly, and/or cropping in post-production.

External macro lenses with 67mm threads from INON, Epoque, and other manufacturers, can be attached directly to the front of the housing's port.

Flash Options

Due to the position of the camera's flash in relation to its lens, the built-in flash is not suitable to illuminate photos under water. For the best color and clarity, we recommend adding a filter, strobe, or constant-on light. The built-in flash may be used to trigger external strobes via fiber optic sync cord. Two ports are provided for the connection of up to two fiber optic cords.

Any current model Ikelite DS strobe can be triggered fiber optically with true automatic Olympus TTL exposure using the RC1 TTL Receiver # 4412 and Fiber Optic Cord # 4501.

Wi-Fi Transfer

Use the camera's built-in Wi-Fi feature to download photos to another device without removing the camera from the housing. The Wi-Fi feature is only usable above water within close proximity to the connected device.

Compatibility

Unless otherwise noted, this housing does not accommodate the use of add-on grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers, or other accessories.

Differences in lens and control placement prevent other camera models from being used in or adapted to this housing. We are not aware of any other models which may be used in or adapted to this housing.

Lens Support

Add the press-fit Macro Adapter # 9306.82 with any 67mm threaded macro wet lens for incredibly super macro photography. Compatible wet lenses include but are not limited to the INON UCL-165, Subsee Magnifier, Saga close up lenses, Nauticam CMC-1, and others.

The optional WD-4 Wide Angle Dome # 6430.4 provides a wider angle of view underwater without the edge distortion, vignetting, or weight typically associated with an external wide angle wet lens. The WD-4 is a 0.75x magnification factor and simply slides on and off of the housing's lens port.

Optional 6" dry dome
The DC3 6" Dome Port # 6403 offers the best of everything: wide angle, macro, and over-under all on one dive. This special dome port replaces the housing's standard port and provides sharp 24mm wide angle and is perfect for split shots (half-in, half-out of the water). Approximately 3/4 of the camera's zoom range is usable behind the dome and macro images can be captured with the dome installed.

Optional wide angle port
The optional Wide Angle Port M67 for Sony RX100 VI # 9306.02 can be used in place of the housing's standard port for use of 67mm threaded external wide angle wet lenses. This port has been optimized to provide the best combination of wide angle and macro photography. The shorter port length accommodates an effective zoom range of 24-70mm.

This port is optimized for use with wide angle wet lenses designed for the 28mm equivalent focal length, including the INON UWL-H100, Nauticam WWL-1, and others. Some vignetting (dark shadows around the edges of the image will be present at wider focal lengths. We recommend zooming to eliminate vignetting or cropping your images in post-production.

The front of the port also accepts 67mm threaded macro wet lenses by INON, Subsee, Saga, Nauticam, and others.

The standard lens port is removed and the Wide Angle Port M67 simply threads into the front of the housing for quick and easy installation. The camera cannot be zoomed past 70mm with this port attached. The camera will shut down if zoomed past this point.

Vacuum valve fitting for any housing with a spare 1/2" accessory port. Additionally, it can be installed in place of the 1/4-20 top mount featured on all DSLR housings produced since 2009.

The valve's low profile avoids interference with control operation. The included waterproof plug is secured to the fitting to prevent accidental loss. Includes vacuum pump with gauge.

This valve is installed quickly and easily by securing one nut on the inside of the housing. The housing does not need to be returned to the factory for installation.

Compatibility

Most newer housings with an opaque white front feature a spare 1/2-20 threaded accessory port. The plug of this spare port may be replaced with this vacuum valve.

Additionally, it can be installed in place of the 1/4-20 top mount featured on all DSLR housings produced since 2009.

A vacuum leak detection system allows you to check for leaks after assembling your housing and prior to entering the water. This can make the difference between a successful dive and a stressful situation.

Our new pump is designed to be more compact, ergonomic, durable, and faster to get to the recommend pressure of 10 mmHg.

Our 200DL and 50DL housings ship with a compatible vacuum valve pre-installed. Optional vacuum valve and pump kits are available for most housings that do not come with a valve.
