A lightweight wing designed for single-tank, warm water diving, our Travel series of wings are small-profile and ideal for travel and divers who wear a minimal amount of weight. At 25 pounds (11.3 kg) of lift, the Travel wing can accommodate one 80 cubic foot (12 L) tank with no more than 16 pounds of additional weight.

With its’ donut-shape, the Travel wing provides greater stability and control in the water. Donut-style or 360 degree wings promote an even volume of inflation on top, sides, and bottom, which improves buoyancy control and promotes a more efficient, horizontal trim.

Divers may choose from our durable 1680 ballistic nylon EXP material, available in four different color combinations, or our even more rugged SuperFabric® brand technology XT material that creates an armor-clad outer shell that is impervious to damaging pinches and cuts, with a 1680 ballistic nylon diver’s side panel. Both the Travel EXP (Model BC 4100) and Travel XT (Model 5100) are further enhanced with a heavy-duty, 210 denier nylon laminated bladder. They are backed by our Worry-Free Lifetime Guarantee and are made exclusively in the USA.

As a part of our modular BCD system, the Travel Series wing can be matched with a TransPac® XT, Transplate, or any metal backplate and webbing harness.

Quickly set up stage, deco, or sidemount bottles without tools using our Travel Stage Straps. Two hose retainers (one deluxe and one standard) and the 1.5-inch low profile cam strap are captured in the stage strap, keeping the entire set up connected as one piece. Adding and removing this kit from cylinders is easy, and losing pieces from the kit is nearly impossible. Use of a cam strap instead of a metal clamp allows divers to quickly set up, adjust, or remove the straps. Marine grade stainless steel medium bolt snaps are used as a lighter weight option for travel purposes. All versions come with a tank choker for sidemount divers who use a stage strap set up on their bottles. Strap is easily disassembled and re-assembled, giving the ability to add or remove hose retainers as needed.

The TG-6 has a bright 25-100mm mid-range zoom lens and a high-speed back-lit CMOS image sensor for excellent performance in low-light settings. The microscope mode has been improved since the previous TG-5 model and is capable of macro close-up images that are as good as if not better than expensive full-frame DSLR cameras.

The TG-6 supports ultra HD 4K video and RAW image capture, which is a powerful tool for post-dive color corrections using either Adobe Lightroom or the included software. The TG-6 is waterproofed to 50' (15.2m) even without a housing, which makes set-up a little less stress-inducing.

Lens Support

The DC1 6" Dome Port # 6401 offers the best of everything: wide angle, macro, and over-under all on one dive. This special dome port replaces the housing's standard port and provides sharp 25mm wide angle, full zoom through and macro capabilities, and is perfect for split shots (half-in, half-out of the water).

The WD-3 Wide Angle Dome # 6430.3 attaches to the front of the standard port and provides mid-range angle of view with no vignetting (dark shadows in the corners of the image).

The W-30 Wide Angle Lens # 6430, INON UWL-H100, and other 67mm threaded wide angle lenses, provide a wider maximum angle of view. Because these are separated from the camera's lens by glass, air, and water, some vignetting and edge distortion will be present. These effects can be reduced or eliminated by using a smaller aperture, zooming in slightly, and/or cropping in post-production.

External macro lenses with 67mm threads from INON, Epoque, and other manufacturers, can be attached directly to the front of the housing's port.

Flash Options

Due to the position of the camera's flash in relation to its lens, the built-in flash is not suitable to illuminate photos under water. For the best color and clarity, we recommend adding a filter, strobe, or constant-on light. The built-in flash may be used to trigger external strobes via fiber optic sync cord. Two ports are provided for the connection of up to two fiber optic cords.

Any current model Ikelite DS strobe can be triggered fiber optically with true automatic Olympus TTL exposure using the RC1 TTL Receiver # 4412 and Fiber Optic Cord # 4501.

Wi-Fi Transfer

Use the camera's built-in Wi-Fi feature to download photos to another device without removing the camera from the housing. The Wi-Fi feature is only usable above water within close proximity to the connected device.

Compatibility

Unless otherwise noted, this housing does not accommodate the use of add-on grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers, or other accessories.

Differences in lens and control placement prevent other camera models from being used in or adapted to this housing. We are not aware of any other models which may be used in or adapted to this housing.

Lens Support

Add the press-fit Macro Adapter # 9306.82 with any 67mm threaded macro wet lens for incredibly super macro photography. Compatible wet lenses include but are not limited to the INON UCL-165, Subsee Magnifier, Saga close up lenses, Nauticam CMC-1, and others.

The optional WD-4 Wide Angle Dome # 6430.4 provides a wider angle of view underwater without the edge distortion, vignetting, or weight typically associated with an external wide angle wet lens. The WD-4 is a 0.75x magnification factor and simply slides on and off of the housing's lens port.

Optional 6" dry dome
The DC3 6" Dome Port # 6403 offers the best of everything: wide angle, macro, and over-under all on one dive. This special dome port replaces the housing's standard port and provides sharp 24mm wide angle and is perfect for split shots (half-in, half-out of the water). Approximately 3/4 of the camera's zoom range is usable behind the dome and macro images can be captured with the dome installed.

Optional wide angle port
The optional Wide Angle Port M67 for Sony RX100 VI # 9306.02 can be used in place of the housing's standard port for use of 67mm threaded external wide angle wet lenses. This port has been optimized to provide the best combination of wide angle and macro photography. The shorter port length accommodates an effective zoom range of 24-70mm.

This port is optimized for use with wide angle wet lenses designed for the 28mm equivalent focal length, including the INON UWL-H100, Nauticam WWL-1, and others. Some vignetting (dark shadows around the edges of the image will be present at wider focal lengths. We recommend zooming to eliminate vignetting or cropping your images in post-production.

The front of the port also accepts 67mm threaded macro wet lenses by INON, Subsee, Saga, Nauticam, and others.

The standard lens port is removed and the Wide Angle Port M67 simply threads into the front of the housing for quick and easy installation. The camera cannot be zoomed past 70mm with this port attached. The camera will shut down if zoomed past this point.
